ASSISTANT ESTATES & HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

Salary: Competitive FTE range £33,945 - £36,648
Working a minimum of 21 hours (3 days a week) and a minimum of 41 weeks a year
Reporting to the Head of Estates and Health & Safety of Saffron Academy Trust
This role requires in person working with the possibility of some working from home.
The Trust wishes to appoint an Assistant Estates and Health & Safety Manager to work alongside the Head of Estates to manage a range of facilities across its multiple sites. The post holder will be responsible for advising on and ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation; maintenance of relevant records and register of audits; act as an advisor to all schools on Estate matters, development of policies and procedures with the Head of Estates and work with the Head of Estates on building programmes and maintenance programmes.
The successful candidate will have experience in general estates and facilities management, a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and an understanding of building control systems. Previous experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but not essential.
You should have a proven track record of providing excellent facilities management services, experience of working with a multi discipline team of professionals, and be able to demonstrate having successfully implemented change and innovation.
